Peru Social Benefits Final Settlement Calculator

Peru · Employment

Estimate your social benefits final settlement in Peru (general private labor regime) when your employment ends: prorated CTS, prorated bonus with its extraordinary add-on, accrued and prorated vacation, and pending compensation. Reuses the same formulas as Numelto's CTS, bonus, and vacation calculators.

Remuneración básica mensual bruta, sin descuentos.

Si la recibes, se suma a la remuneración computable (S/ 113 con la RMV de S/ 1 130).

Optional: adds one additional compensation for each year of expired vacation, if it applies to you.

Were you dismissed arbitrarily? The arbitrary dismissal indemnity is calculated separately and isn't included in this final settlement. Arbitrary dismissal indemnity →

How is it calculated?

The final settlement adds up the benefits pending at termination. (1) Prorated CTS: computable compensation ÷ 12 for each full month and ÷ 360 for each day of the current period (November–April or May–October); computable compensation includes the family allowance and 1/6 of the bonus. (2) Prorated bonus: 1/6 of computable compensation for each full calendar month worked in the semester (January–June or July–December), plus the 9% (EsSalud) or 6.75% (EPS) extraordinary bonus. (3) Vacation: 30 days per full year; accrued vacation is paid at compensation ÷ 30 per day and prorated vacation at 1/12 per month and 1/360 per day. (4) Pending compensation: compensation ÷ 30 per day. Any bonus or CTS already paid is deducted. This doesn't include the arbitrary dismissal indemnity, profit sharing, or special rules for micro/small businesses or regimes other than the general one. This is a rough estimate, not an official calculation.

Examples

  • Termination on 09/30/2026, compensation of 3,000, hired 03/15/2024, 30 days of vacation already taken

Prorated CTS 1,458.33, prorated bonus 1,500 (3 months) with an add-on of 135, and vacation 4,633.33. Estimated total: 7,726.66.

What the social benefits final settlement includes

The final settlement gathers what the employer owes you at termination: prorated CTS, prorated bonus with its add-on, accrued and prorated vacation, and pending compensation. It's paid within 48 hours of termination.

  • Prorated CTS: the part of the current semester (November–April or May–October). Details in the CTS calculator.
  • Prorated bonus: 1/6 for each full calendar month of the semester, plus the extraordinary bonus. Details in the bonus calculator.
  • Accrued vacation (full years not taken) and prorated vacation (proportional part of the current year).
  • Pending compensation: days worked that haven't been paid.

What it doesn't include

The arbitrary dismissal indemnity isn't part of the final settlement: it only applies if the dismissal was arbitrary and is calculated separately in the dismissal indemnity calculator. Profit sharing and special regimes (micro/small business, agricultural) aren't estimated either.

If you already received a bonus or CTS payment for the current period, enter it in the calculator: it's deducted so it isn't paid twice.
