Text Case Converter
Paste your text and convert it to UPPERCASE, lowercase, Sentence case or Title Case.
Difference between the four modes
UPPERCASE and lowercase change the entire text. Sentence case capitalizes the first letter of each sentence (after a period, exclamation mark, question mark or line break) and lowercases the rest. Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word.
Accented and special characters
Accented letters and other locale-specific characters convert correctly in all four modes — they don't stay unchanged or break, which can happen with tools built only for plain ASCII.
Privacy
The conversion happens in your browser. The text is never sent to Numelto.
Example of the four modes
After converting, you can count the words or clean up spacing.
| Mode | "hello WORLD. how are you?" |
|---|---|
| UPPERCASE | HELLO WORLD. HOW ARE YOU? |
| lowercase | hello world. how are you? |
| Sentence case | Hello world. How are you? |
| Title Case | Hello World. How Are You? |
Title Case vs. Sentence case
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word (useful for headings); Sentence case only capitalizes the first letter of each sentence, like normal prose — pick based on whether the result is a headline or a paragraph.
