Pool Volume Calculator

Calculate how many liters of water your rectangular pool holds from its length, width, and average depth. The result is the base figure for calculating chlorine, salt, or other product doses.

How is it calculated?

Volume (m³) = length × width × average depth. Liters = volume (m³) × 1,000. If your pool's floor slopes (deeper at one end), use the average between the minimum and maximum depth as the average depth.

Examples

  • 8 × 4 m pool with 1.5 m average depth

Your pool holds 48 m³ of water: 48,000 liters.

  • 6 × 3 m pool with 1.2 m average depth

Your pool holds 21.6 m³ of water: 21,600 liters.

Volume by pool shape

Use the volume to calculate chlorine or salt dose and filtration hours. Remember: 1 m³ is 1,000 liters.
