Chile Net Salary Calculator
Chile · EmploymentCalculate your net salary in Chile: go from gross to net by deducting AFP (10% plus the fee), health, unemployment insurance, the Second Category Single Tax, and other deductions. Uses current 2026 values. This is an estimate, not your official payslip.
How is it calculated?
Net salary = gross salary − AFP (10% + your AFP's fee) − health (legal 7%, plus your Isapre's additional if any) − unemployment insurance (0.6% on an open-ended contract; 0% for the employee on fixed-term or project contracts) − Second Category Single Tax − other deductions. AFP and health are calculated on taxable compensation capped at 90 UF, and unemployment insurance at 135.2 UF (the Superintendency of Pensions' 2026 caps); since the UF changes daily, the calculator uses the value you provide (defaulting to the UF for September 30, 2026, published by the SII). The Single Tax is calculated on the taxable net compensation (salary minus mandatory contributions) with the SII's UTM-based table and the chosen month's UTM. The additional pension reform contribution (3.5% since August 2026) is paid by the employer and isn't deducted from your salary. It doesn't include voluntary deductions like APV, loans, or union dues: you can add them under "Other deductions".
