Convert HEIC to JPG
Upload one or several HEIC/HEIF photos (the format iPhone uses by default) and convert them to JPG, WebP, or a single PDF.
What HEIC is and why convert it
HEIC/HEIF is the format iPhone has used to save photos by default since iOS 11. It's smaller than a JPG at the same quality, but many apps and websites still can't open it — converting to JPG or WebP fixes that.
Privacy
Conversion happens in your browser using a library that decodes HEIC locally (based on libheif compiled to WebAssembly). Your photos are never uploaded to Numelto.
Which format to choose
After converting, you can compress the image to a maximum size or resize it. Note that conversion may not preserve metadata; to check or remove it, use image metadata / EXIF viewer.
| Format | When to choose it |
|---|---|
| JPG | Maximum compatibility: email, forms, social media |
| WebP | Web use: smaller size with good quality |
| Bundling several photos into one document |
