Why convert AVIF to JPG
AVIF is a modern, efficient format, but not every app, social network or editing tool supports it yet. JPG remains the most widely compatible format for photos.
What happens to transparency
JPG doesn't support transparency. If your AVIF has transparent areas, they'll be filled with white in the result — if you need to keep transparency, use AVIF to PNG instead.
