Dominican Republic TSS Contributions Calculator
Dominican Republic · EmploymentCalculate the Social Security Treasury (TSS) contributions of an employee in the Dominican Republic: what's deducted from the worker (health 3.04% and pension 2.87%) and, separately, what the employer pays (7.09%, 7.10%, and occupational risk), with the 2026 contribution caps.
How is it calculated?
Worker: Family Health Insurance (SFS) 3.04% and pension (Old-Age, Disability, and Survivors Insurance, AFP) 2.87%; occupational risk, 0%. Employer: SFS 7.09%, pension 7.10%, and occupational risk a fixed 1% plus a variable component of 0.10% to 0.30% depending on the company's assigned risk level. Each insurance is calculated on the contributable salary up to its cap, in effect since February 1, 2026 (reference minimum wage of 23,223): health 232,230 (10 minimum wages), pension 464,460 (20 minimum wages), and occupational risk 92,892 (4 minimum wages). No percentages apply to amounts above the corresponding cap. The employer's contribution isn't deducted from the worker's salary. The employer's contribution includes other items outside this calculator (for example, INFOTEP). This is a rough estimate.
