Random Number Generator

Generate one or several random numbers between a minimum and a maximum, with or without repeats and excluding numbers if needed, using the same cryptographic randomness as the password generator.

Local processing: your data is processed in your browser and never sent to Numelto or any external service.

When to use it

It directly solves the common need of "I want X random numbers between A and B": raffles, picking a lottery number, randomly assigning turns, generating test data, or simply rolling a virtual die with a range of 1 to 6.

With or without repeats

With repeats allowed, each number is picked independently (like rolling a die several times: the same value can come up more than once). Without repeats, each number comes up at most once — useful for raffles where the same number shouldn't win twice.

Why there's a count limit

Generating an extremely large amount of numbers at once could slow down the browser with no real benefit — that's why there's a reasonable limit per generation. If you need more, generate again.

Excluding numbers

If some numbers already came up before (for example, in a multi-round raffle) or you don't want them to come up for any reason, list them under "Exclude numbers" (comma-separated) — they'll never appear in the result.

Can I use this as a raffle number generator?

Yes: choose "no repeats", your raffle's number range, and exclude any numbers already drawn in earlier rounds. Numelto only performs the random selection of numbers — organizing, selling tickets, and the legality of any raffle or draw is entirely up to the organizer.
