What it does
Converts every page of the PDF into its own PNG image, at good resolution.
Rendered pages, not embedded images
Important: this generates an image of each full page as it looks (including text), it doesn't extract only the photos or graphics the PDF might contain separately. If a page has no image at all, its PNG is still generated with whatever text it contains.
Privacy
Pages are rendered with pdf.js in your browser. The document is never uploaded to Numelto.
When to use this tool vs. another
This is for converting each page into an image (to share or embed it). If you want to copy the text instead, use extract text from a PDF; if you need the reverse process, use images to PDF.
Format and quality of the exported image
Each page is exported as a full image (PNG) at a resolution meant to be read sharply on screen; it's not an extraction of the original photos embedded in the PDF, but a capture of how the page looks.
