JSONPath Tester Online
Paste JSON and a JSONPath expression, and instantly check which values it selects, with the exact path of each match.
Supported syntax
The common JSONPath subset (Goessner notation), the same one most online tools support:
| Expression | What it selects |
|---|---|
| $.store.book[0].title | Direct access by key and index |
| $.store.book[*].title | Every item in an array (wildcard) |
| $..price | Every "price" key at any depth (recursive descent) |
| $.store.book[0:2] | A range of an array (slice, no step) |
| $.store.book[?(@.price < 10)] | Filter: items that match a condition |
| $.store.book[?(@.category == 'fiction')] | Filter by text equality |
What it doesn't support
It doesn't support arbitrary script expressions (like @.length-1 inside a filter), slices with a step (start:end:step), or multiple comma-separated selectors inside the same bracket. If your expression uses any of that, you get an explicit error instead of a guessed result.
Privacy
