Convert Base64 to Image
Paste an image's Data URL or raw Base64 text and decode it: you'll see a preview and can download the resulting file.
Full Data URL vs. plain Base64
If you paste a full Data URL (starting with data:image/…;base64,…), the image type is detected automatically. If you paste only the Base64 text without that header, the Base64 itself doesn't encode the image type — pick the right format in the selector so the preview and download come out correctly.
When this is useful
It's the reverse of embedding an image: recovering the actual image file from a Base64 value found in a JSON payload, an API response, an email with inline images, or a code variable.
For the opposite process (image → Base64), use Image to Base64.
