Add Page Numbers to PDF

Upload a PDF and add page numbers with the position, format, and size you want.

What it does

Writes a number (or "Page X of Y") at the position you choose on every page of the PDF.

Options

Choose the corner or center, top or bottom; the text format (1, 1 / 10, Page 1, Page 1 of 10); which number to start counting from; and the text size.

Privacy

Numbers are added with pdf-lib, running in your browser. The document is never uploaded to Numelto.

Available numbering formats

If the document is the result of combining several files, number it last: first merge the PDFs, then add the numbers.

Starting numbering from a page other than 1

You can set which page the visible numbering starts on and what number it starts at, useful when the PDF has a cover or a table of contents that shouldn't be numbered, or when you're continuing the numbering from another document.

Choosing where the number sits on the page

You can place the number in the bottom-right, bottom-left, or centered, top or bottom, to match your document's style; the font size and the margin from the edge can also be adjusted before generating the result.
