Scientific Calculator
Online scientific calculator: basic operations, powers, roots, trigonometry (in degrees or radians), logarithms and constants like π and e. Everything runs in your browser.
How is it calculated?
Type a math expression (for example sin(30) + sqrt(16)) and the calculator evaluates it step by step, respecting operator precedence (powers before multiplication, multiplication before addition) and parentheses. In degree mode, sin/cos/tan/asin/acos/atan read and return angles in degrees; in radian mode, they use the standard mathematical convention (2π = 360°).
Examples
Combine a square root and a power
sqrt(16) + 2^3 = 4 + 8 = 12.
Sine of 30 degrees
sin(30°) = 0.5.
Natural logarithm of e
log(e) = 1 (natural logarithm).
Available functions
The angle mode (degrees or radians) only affects the trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan and their inverses) — every other operation works the same regardless of the mode chosen.
