Peru Overtime Calculator
Peru · EmploymentCalculate overtime pay in Peru: the first two hours of each day with a 25% surcharge and the following hours with 35%, based on your monthly compensation or your hourly rate.
How is it calculated?
Hourly rate = monthly compensation ÷ 30 ÷ hours of the daily workday (8 as a general rule). The first two overtime hours of each day are paid with a 25% surcharge on the hourly rate, and the following hours with a 35% surcharge. Overtime is voluntary and must be agreed upon; payment = hours × hourly rate × (1 + surcharge). You can enter hours with fractions (e.g. 1.5 hours). If you know your hourly rate, you can enter it directly. This calculation applies to workers under the general regime with a maximum workday of 8 hours daily or 48 weekly; cumulative or atypical schedules have their own rules. This is a rough estimate, not an official calculation.
