URL Parser
Paste a URL and break it down into its parts: protocol, hostname, port, path, query parameters, and fragment.
The parts of a URL
Every URL follows the same general structure:
| Part | Example | What it identifies |
|---|---|---|
| Protocol | https | How the resource is accessed |
| Hostname | numelto.com | The server being accessed |
| Port | 443 (default for HTTPS) | The connection port on that server |
| Pathname | /tools/qr | The specific resource on the server |
| Query parameters | ?size=512 | Extra data sent in the URL |
| Fragment (hash) | #result | A position or state within the page itself |
Query params as a table, not plain text
Query parameters are shown already split into key-value pairs, instead of as the raw ?a=1&b=2 string — useful for quickly debugging a long URL with many parameters.
