How is the percentage calculated?
Both names are normalized (accents removed, lowercase) and always combined in the same alphabetical order, so Manuel+Laura gives exactly the same result as Laura+Manuel. A deterministic number is generated from that combination — it's never Math.random(): the same pair of names always gives the same percentage, today, tomorrow, and a year from now.
Does it have any scientific basis?
No, and it doesn't claim to — it's an entertainment name game, in the same tradition as the classic schoolyard FLAMES game. The percentage doesn't measure or predict any real relationship.
