Favicon Generator
Upload a square image (or we crop it to the central square) and generate favicon.ico, the usual PNG sizes and the apple-touch-icon.
What gets generated
PNGs at 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, 180×180 (apple-touch-icon), 192×192 and 512×512 (Android/PWA), and a favicon.ico with the 16, 32 and 48 sizes — the two real uses of a .ico today: the browser tab and the desktop shortcut.
How to use them
Place favicon.ico and apple-touch-icon.png at your site's root, and link the remaining PNGs from the <head> with <link rel="icon"> tags. We don't generate a manifest.json — if your project needs one, just point it to these same files.
Privacy
All the resizing and .ico building happens in your browser. The image is never uploaded to Numelto.
Before generating the favicon
Start from a simple, square image: at 16 × 16 pixels, detail gets lost.
