Argentina Monotributo Social Eligibility Checker

Argentina · Self-employed

A quick checker for the main requirements of Monotributo Social: answer a few questions and see whether you might qualify or what conditions could prevent it. It's not a money calculator and doesn't complete the application: enrollment is handled by the agency.

How is it calculated?

Monotributo Social is a regime for people who carry out a single independent economic activity and are in a socially vulnerable situation. The requirements this tool checks are: being over 18; a single economic activity; annual gross income up to Monotributo's category A cap (12,009,410.45 since August 2026); up to two real estate properties and up to three registrable movable assets (vehicles); not being a university professional practicing that profession as the economic activity, nor an employer or holder of shares in commercial companies; not being required to pay income tax (Ganancias) or the personal assets tax (Bienes Personales); and having no other income besides the declared activity and certain compatible benefits (such as AUH, the pregnancy allowance, the Tarjeta Alimentar food card, or non-contributory pensions). Under the regime, the State covers the integrated tax and the pension contribution, and whoever enrolls pays 50% of the health plan component (about 12,847.27 a month at August 2026 values). The result never confirms you're a beneficiary: that's determined by the application process with the agency.

Examples

  • One activity, income of 8,000,000 a year, and no other assets or obligations

Based on the data entered, you meet the main requirements.

  • Income of 15,000,000 a year

There are conditions that could prevent access: income exceeds category A's cap.
