Sales Needed for Your Profit Goal Calculator
Set a monthly profit target and calculate how many sales you need to reach it, based on the real profit each one leaves you — not gross revenue, but what you actually keep after VAT, fees, advertising, and returns.
How is it calculated?
First, net profit per sale is calculated exactly as in real product profit. Sales needed = target monthly profit ÷ net profit per sale, always rounded up (312.4 sales needed means 313 real sales, not 312). Revenue needed is that number of sales multiplied by the sale price — useful for comparing against your current traffic and conversion rate.
Examples
Target: 1,000 profit a month, product at 30 with 3.19 profit per sale
You need 314 sales a month (9,420 in revenue).
Target: 2,000 profit a month, product at 60 with 5.57 profit per sale
You need 360 sales a month (21,600 in revenue).
From your profit target to sales
Sales needed is the profit target divided by net profit per sale, rounded up. If the number isn't realistic for your traffic, review the price with minimum profitable price or your costs with real product profit; and check your advertising limit with max CPA.
